Accomack to wit
April 28th 1805
Surveyed the lands of Coventon Mears late decd. Containing two hundred and twenty nine acres situate between Mears Mill Branch on the N.E. & Taylor's Branch on S, W. near Matchapungo in the county afsd. and bounded on the N.w. by the lands of Capt. Francis Savage & on the S. E. by the lands of Kendal Groten also divided the said land under the direction of the Sheriff of the County afsd and a Jury by him empanelled for the purpose of making partition thereof between the heirs of the sd. Conventon Mears decd so that William Smith & Adah his wife one of the sd. heirs, have Lot No 2 containing One Hundred & seventeen & one quarter acres in right of the said Adah, & Jenny Mears the other of the sd. heirs has Lot No 1 Containing one Hundred Eleven & three quarters acres According to the Annexed Plat thereof
