This Indenture mad the eleventh day June in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred fifty three Between Solomon Walter of Northampton County, of the one part, & William Dunton of the same Place of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Solomon Walter for and in Consideration, of the Sum of Ninety Pounds Current Money of Virginia, to him in hand paid, by the said William Dunton, the receipt whereof he the said Solomon, doth hereby acknowledge, & is therewith content, Hat granted Bargained & Sold and by these Presents Doth Grant Bargain and Sell unto the said William Dunton, his heirs and Assigns forever, a certain Tract or Parcel of Land Scituate Lying & being in the aforesaid County of Northampton Containing by Estimation one hundred and Thirty five Acres, bounded as followeth to wit, Southerly upon the broad Branch, Easterly upon the Land of Matthew Harmanson, and John Tankred and Westerly & Northerly upon the Land of John Walter with all & singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the said One hundred and thirty five Acres of Land and Appurtenances, to him the said William Dunton his Heirs and Assigns forever; and top and for no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever; the said Solomon Walter doth hereby for himself His Heirs &c: covenant Promise and agree to & with the said William Dunton his Heirs &c: that the said Solomon Walter the before mentioned to be granted Lands & Premises, with the appurtenances, unto him the said William Dunton his Heirs &c: against himself the said Solomon Walter his Heirs &c: and all other persons claiming Right or Title thereto, will Warrant, and the same forever defend. In Witness whereof the said Solomon Walter hath the Day & year first above written, set his Hand & Seal.
