Mickel Bonewell and wife to Mathew Killman

This Indenture madt the 28th day of December 1795 Between Mel Bonewell and Betty his wife of the County of Accomack and the Parish of St. George of the one part and Matuel Killman of the County & Parish of Accomack of the other part Witnesseth for and consideration of the sum of Eight Pounds ten shillings Currant money of Virginia to them in hand Paid the receipt whereof the afsd MIkell and Betty his wife dothe hereby acknowledge hath given Granted Bargained and sold unto the afsd Kilmon his heirs and assigns forever a Certain Parcel of Land and marsh containing about twenty two acres & half and be the same or Less Being all the rights that the afsd Bonewell Lays Claim to in Jobes Island in the County afsd to the only use and behoof of him the said Kilmon his heirs or assigns and for no other use intent or purpose what Ever and to the said Bonewell Doth further Covenant to and With the said Kilmon his heirs and assigns that he has Good right to the afsd Land and marsh and that he will forever Defend against the Lawful Claime of any Person or persons Laying any claim there unto the afsd Bargained Premises In Testamony hereof aforesaid, Ml Bonewell and Betty his Wife has set their hands and affixed their seals the day and date above written

At a Court held in Accomack County December 29th 1795 This Indenture from Michail Bonewell to Mathew Killmon was acknowledged by said Michail as his act and deed and ordered to be recorded.
