Deed from Arthur Vessells Senr to Arthur Vessells Junr - 10 October 1796

This Indenture made this tenth day of October Anno Dom. One thousand Seven hundred and ninety Six Between Arthur Vessells Senr of Accomack County of the one part and Arthur Vessells Junr of the said County of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Arthur Vessells Senr for and in consideration of the sum of fifty pounds current money of Virginia to him in hand paid by Arthur Vessells Junr before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained & sold & by these presents do give grant bargain and sell to the said Arthur Vessells Junr his heirs and assigns for ever a tract or parcel of land with the appurtenances lying and being near Back Creek branch in the aforesaid County bounded on Robert Parkes land and runing along the County Road to the land of William Justice & from then along the line of Wm Justice as far as will conclude fifty acres across the said land to the said Robert Parks land. To have and to hold all the said bargained premises with the appurtenances to the said Arthur Vessells Junr his heirs and assigns forever to the use of the Arthur Vessells Junr his heirs & assigns for ever under his Special trust & confidence nevertheless to wit that the said Arthur Vessells Junr & his heirs shall for ever hereafter stand seized of all the Bargained premises with the appurtenances and the said Arthur Vessells Senr for himself his heirs Executors Administrators doth hereby covenant with the sd Arthur Vesssels Junr his heirs and assigns that at the immediately before the sealing and delivery hereof he is seized of the aforesaid fifty Acres of land with the appurtenances in a food & fesible estate of inheritance in fee simple and that he hath good right & full power to grant bargain and sell the same to the said Arthur Vessells Junr his heirs & assigns in manner & form afsd And the said Arthur Vessells Senr doth hereby for himself and his heirs Executors & Administrators covenant with the sd Arthur Vessells Junr his heirs and assigns for ever against all persons Claimes & titles whatsoever In Testimony whereof the party afsd to these presents interchangeably paid by his hand & seal the day and year first above written
