This Indenture made this Eight Day of may, one Thousand Seven hundred & fifty three. Between Richard Booll of Northampton County in the Colony of Virginia Planter of the one part, And Littleton Addison of the County and Colony aforesaid of the other part. Witness That the said Richard Booll for and in Consideration of the Sum of Thirty pounds Current money of Virginia, to him in hand paid by the said Littleton Addison, the Receipt whereof the sad Richard Booll Doth hereby Acknowledge; He the said Richard Booll, Hath Granted Bargained & Sold, Aliened and Confirm and by these Presents Doth Grant Bargain Sell alien and Confirm unto the said Littleton Addison his Heirs & assigns forever. All that Forty Acres of Land Lying in Northampton County, & Bounded as followeth bounded northerly on Joshua Johnson's Line of marked Trees, thence Extending with a paralell Line, on the said Johnson, Line fro the Complement of Forty Acres, on the Land of the said Richard Booll, and also all Trees, woods,under Woods, Tithes, Commons, Common of Pastures, Profits, Comodities, Advantages hereditaments, Ways, Waters, & Appurtenances, whatsoever, to the said forty Acres above mentioned belonging,or any wise appurtaining. Ans also the Reversion & Reversions, Remainder, & Remainders, Rents & Services of the said Premises & every Part thereof, & all the Estate Right, Title, Interest, Claim and Demand whatsoever, of him the said Richard Booll of in and to the said forty Acres of Land & Premises, and every part thereof. To have and to hold the said Messuage or Tenement, & all & Singular the said premises above mentioned, & every part & parcel thereof, with the appurtenances, unto the said Littleton Addison, his Heirs and assigns th the only proper use & Behoof of the said Littleton Addison, his Heirs and Assigns forever & the said Richard Booll for him and his Heirs the said forty Acres of Land or Tenement & premises & every part thereof against him & his Heirs, & against all and every other Person & Persons whatsoever, to the said Littleton Addison his Heirs and Assigns, shall & will Warrant & forever Defend, by these Presents, In witness whereof the said Richard Booll has hereunto Signed Sealed and Delivered the Day & Year first above mention in the Presence of

This Indenture was acknowledged in Court by Richard Booll one of the Parties thereto, as his Act & Deed & Ordered to be recorded, and Henrietta the wife of the said Richard, Relinquished her Right and Title of Dower, in the Estate Conveyed by the said Indenture she being first Privately examined as the Law directs, did Voluntarily Assent thereto
