To all to whom these presents shall Com Know yee that I Griffen Savage of the county of Northampton Carpenter for full consideration & valuable satisfaction in hand Received by nine thousand pounds of Tobacco & Cask at & before ye Signing Sealing and delivery hereof have alinated Bargained and Confirmed unto Howel Glading of the Same County Seaven hundred acres of Land in Northampton County in the Woods between the heads of Assawn branches & Messongoe boundeing Southeast on ye Mrked trees of Capt. Daniel Jenifers Land Northwest by the bounds of John Stokelys Land & running from it along ye marked trees of Nicholas Mellichops three hundred Poles thence southwest & bee South three hundred & twenty poles thence southeast & by East forty & six Poles thence Southwest & by South three hundred poles then Northwest & by West two hundred & four poles then Northeast & by Nore unto ye Land of Stokely ye Land being Granted by Patten to ye above Griffen Savage The Said seaven hundred acres of Land together with all & singalar ye houses buildings orchards Gardens ffences & all other the Rights Revisions Remainders Liberties Easements Comodities [-----] & advantages whatsoever belonging to ye Same unto the Said Howel Glading his heirs Exors Admr & assignes for ever To Have & to hould with ye abovesaid demised premises & all ye appurtenances Messuages Meddows ffeeding Pastures [-----] & hereditaments & all & singular ye premises & every appurtenace hereunto belonging or any wise appertaineing unto ye sd Howel Glading & to his heirs exors Admrs & assignes for ever to his & their only soll & proper use & behalfe absolutely wthout any contradiction power or devocacon in any wise toe that neither I Griffen Savage nor my wife Bridget Savage nor my heirs exors admrs or assinges nor any other person persons for us or in our name or in the name of any of us at any time or tymes hereafter shall or may aske Clayme Challenge or demand In or to ye premises or any part thereof or any interest Right Title use or Possession but from all [-----] of Right title Claime Interest use & Possession or demand wee & every of us to be utterly excluded & for ever Debarred by these presents & further I thee sd Griffen Savage with my wife Bridget Savage doe [-----] [-----] our heirs exors admrs & assignes to all the above mentioned premises with every [-----] appurtenance unto ye said Howel Glading his heirs Exors & admrs or assigns to all the above mentioned agt the claime of us prson or prsons whatsoever that con or may pretend any right [-----] or interest for us or heirs exores or admrs or by our [-----] assent or consent but agt all & every such claymer or claymers shall warrant & defend ye abovesd Howel Glading his heirs exores admrs & assignes ofr ever & In witness hereof we have hereunto Sett our hands & Seales this 16th of July & in ye one & thirty years of the Reign of our Soveraign Lord Charles ye Second King of England Scotland ffrance & Ireland &c 1679
