To the memory of George Corben, Esq.
whose integrity of conduct, gentleness of manners and benevolence of heart were
eminently conspicuous. He was a tender and indulgent parent, an humane master.
A generous landlord. A sincere friend. His mourning relatives and connections have
dedicated this tomb. He died September 28, 1793 Aged 49

who died September 25, 1775
Aged 22
In her were combined the endearing qualitys of an amiable wife, sincere friend & humane mistress.

In memory of James Revell Corbin
who died September 22d,1793
Aged 20
and whose remains are here intered at a time when just entering on the stage of
life promising fair to gratify the wishes of his friends in becoming a good man &
useful member of society. He was arrested in his youthful career, scarcely verging to manhood.
